As usual, I'm late because I've had \"Project Hail Mary<\/strong>\" by Andy Weir<\/strong> on my wishlist almost since it was released in Italian, three years ago. I made up my mind when I heard the movie was coming out, and if I see the movie first, I find it physically impossible to read the book it's based on. I know, I'm weird.

Now I don't even know if I'll go see the movie.
The novel was clearly written to be adapted into a movie, and I bet the movie will be an exact copy.

I don't know if you know it but it's by the same author as \"The Martian\", of which I saw the movie but I haven't read the book due to my aforementioned problem.
Some say Weir always writes the same book, now I understand why.

Despite being hard sci-fi<\/strong>, the most science-fiction-like idea it contains is that all the countries of the world manage to reach an agreement and collaborate in no time for a common goal, without even conspiracy theorists who don't believe in the latest scientific discovery.
If we can suspend our disbelief on this premise, we can enjoy reading it: being a hard sci-fi, it is full of scientific explanations as to why and how things are going the way they are going, but surprisingly, it is not tiring to read.

All in all, we could consider it the story of an unlikely friendship, with a tear at the end.
In short, it's up to you whether you prefer to see it or read it (or ignore it, which is always an option).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
